Our students attended a workshop today and it was amazing! The instructors were very knowledgeable and worked well with the kids. We have children of all ages and abilities so it was great to see the instructors meet the children at whatever skill level they had. We will definitely be back!
We attended an Anti-Bullying Self Defense Workshop and had a great time! Gerald and his team were extremely patient and accommodating to children who needed it. They were also engaging, structured, yet kept it fun, leaving room for you wanting to learn more. Amazing time-Thank you all!!
I have done several classes with Gerard and they are always super fun and informative. He offers Women's Defense classes as well as structured Jujitsu courses for all ages. Gerard is energetic, focused, patient, and thorough, he will work with you until you get all the techniques just right :)
I participated in an anti-abduction class for females today. It was fun, informative and challenging. Gerard is an excellent teacher! I will definitely take another class from Gerard and the Black Flag Training group.
I absolutely love the environment here. We work hard but we also laugh in the process. I just started in mid August and can honestly say it’s a safe learning environment. In each move we as students help each other and walk each other through the steps. Gerard Is an amazing instructor and helps whenever needed. He answers any and all questions with reasons why. It helps students of years as well as students of a few weeks. If you want to try jujitsu or any of the classes this is the spot to be. #NoSheepHere

Black Flag Training Group is a great school and atmosphere, that will challenge you and take you to the next level of your martial arts journey. Sensei Jerod Brown is well versed and knowledgeable in his craft and will constantly give you new challenges, techniques. Methods, with practical principles. I have grown myself tremendously in my 13 years attending this school. This is a place that not only teaches you but wants to see each and every person grow and become better. The best experience ever. Mr.Brown is very professional and respectful. He provides you with the knowledge necessary to save your life delivered by a gentle giant. Not to mention he’s great with kids so you can make it a family affair and equip your children with life saving techniques that help them build character, learn self defense, and foster confidence. There are multiple events and workshops throughout the year to not only keep you on your toes but also involved with the local community. It’s really a hidden gem and a place you can call home. You learn life saving skills while getting in shape and gaining a close knit family. The ongoing experience is priceless and rare and definitely one that will keep you coming back for years and years!
Black Flag Training Group completely changed my life. I am a survivor of DV & SA and since I have been training with Black Flag Training Group I have regained confidence, self esteem and security in myself. What I think sets this school apart from other schools is the close knit, family like bond that we have and the wisdom that we gain on top of the lessons that we learn. Sensei Brown is absolutely amazing and super knowledgable. I have lost weight, gotten stronger and gotten more agile as well. I highly recommend training at this school because it will change your life!
Gerard and assistants are awesome teachers. I learned so much in just 2 hours. I would highly recommend taking this class!
